Panathinaikos’ teenage sensation Sotiris Ninis recalled to the national team after missing out on selection for the Euro 2008 finals.
The 18 year-old has been in impressive form for Panathinaikos during pre-season and joins fellow team-mates Giorgos Karagounis, Nikos Spiropoulos, Dimitris Salpingidis, Alexandros Tziolis and Lukas Vyntra in the German’s squad.
Greece will be looking to use the upcoming friendly as preparation for the approaching World Cup qualifiers in September, where they have been drawn in a qualifying group including Latvia, Switzerland, Israel, Moldova and Luxembourg.
