Park Ji-Sung: Celtic's Ki Sung-Yong Plays Like Steven Gerrard
Youngster can succeed in the Premier League, says national team skipper...

Manchester United midfielder Park Ji-Sung believes his South Korea team-mate Ki Sung-Yueng shares similarities with Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard, and has tipped his international colleague to succeed in the Premier League.
The former FC Seoul midfielder signed with Scottish Premier League giants Celtic for a fee of £2.1 million, and linked up with the Parkhead outfit in the January transfer window.
The 21-year-old has been in-and-out of the side since his stellar debut against Falkirk, but Park believes the youngster has the pedigree to make the cut and ply his trade in the Premier League.
"He could make an impact in England too," said Park, after the 2-0 victory over Ivory Coast that saw both men play.
"I know him. He has ability and talent.
"He needs more chances to play. Sometimes he plays, other times he doesn't. It is quite difficult.
"Once he gets over that, he will show what he has got.
"I have spoken to him. I have phoned him and told him he can do this and he should believe in himself.
"He is good at passing. His playing style is like Steven Gerrard. He is tall, he likes to do long passes, he can shoot.
"I hope he improves a lot and he shows his ability," concluded the Red Devil.
