Manchester United star Park Ji-sung has declared himself fit for South Korea’s friendlies against Denmark and Serbia.

The winger has been out of action since returning from national team duty in Seoul on October 14.

A knee problem has kept the 28 year-old on the sidelines but he has now recovered to play the Danes on Saturday and Serbia in London Wednesday.

“I came here to play both games,” Park told reporters in Denmark.

“After the Denmark game, we’ll have to take a look at my condition but there is no problem for me to play.”

There had been suggestions in the Korean media that coach Huh Jung-moo may have upset the Premier League champions by summoning the player but his captain dismissed such speculation.

“It just happens that I am fit just in time to join the national team,” Park said.

“There was no problem between my club and the Korean Football Association.”

Both Serbia and Denmark have, like South Korea, qualified for the 2010 World Cup.
