Manchester United's Park Ji-Sung Hails Bolton's Lee Chung-Yong
Three-Lung Park is liking the look of the Blue Dragon...
Lee has been in fine form since joining Bolton Wanderers in the summer and the 21 year-old carried that over to the international arene and set up both goals in a comfortable win for the Taeguk Warriors.
Just before the break, Lee embarked on a forceful run and eventually found Ki Sung-yong who scored from outside the area.
Lee then set-up Oh Beom-seok for his goal ten minutes from time.
Captain Park was impressed.
“Lee Chung-yong has been playing well and trying hard at Bolton and has grown in confidence,” Park said after the match.
“His improvement is valuable for the national team.”
Park could line up against Lee in the Premier League this weekend as their respective teams meet.
Lee would relish such a game as he is enjoying his football.
“Playing for Bolton has helped me to take more responsibility and I am learning a lot," said the former FC Seoul star.
"I thought the pass was going to Lee Keun-ho but fortunately, it went to Sung-yong who then was able to score"
