Bayer Leverkusen will look back on their chances to win this game with Bayern not at their usual best. Here is a look at how the players rated:Bayer Leverkusen
Adler - 5.5 Untroubled in the first half with just a wayward finish from Gomez going wide of his far post to watch. The second he lost his marbles coming out the box to make a clearance, missing it, and lucky for him the ball bounced wide of the empty goal. Made one save from Robben which was straight at him.
Castro - 5.5 Marshalled Ribery well until the penalty which he conceded and was replaced straight after.
Friedrich - 7.5 Didn't put a foot wrong all game and saw both strikers replaced for Bayern.
Reinartz - 8 Not a natural central defender filling in for Hyypia and played out of his skin a fine performance by the youngster.
Kadlec - 7 Offered good width on the attack despite his final ball being poor too many times. Dealt with Robben when he held on the right reasonably well.
Barnetta - 7 Had a couple of shots, one of which should have found the net with. The Swiss international saw a lot of the ball and gave Badstuber a few problems. Solid attacking performance but will regret his finishing.
Vidal - 8 Looked off the pace when defending, getting himself booked in the first half. The second half was amazingly different. The man with the mohawk was everywhere and importantly in the right place to net the equaliser for Bayer.
Bender - 6.5 A grinding performance behind the scenes for Bayer.
Kroos - 7.5 One fine ball to find Barnetta in space for Bayer's best chance in the first half. Took the free kick which lead to the Bayer equaliser. Bayern will wish they didn't let their loanee play today!
Kiessling - 7 Was quiet for long spells but looked a threat and was so unlucky to see his header hit the post and spin across the line.
Derdiyok - 6 Worked hard but his end product was not as effective as his partner. Could have given Bayer an important victory in the last minute when one one one with Butt.
Sarpel - 6 Never really got a foot hold in the second half but his passing was neat and linked up well with Barnetta on one or two occasions.
Butt - 7 Played a vital role for Bayern, making one great save and standing tall when Barnetta should have done better. Maybe should have got up quicker for Vidal's goal.
Lahm - 6.5 Made one mistake almost letting in Kroos but recovered well. Solid performance but was limited to mainly defensive duties today curbing his usual good attacking play.
Van Buyten - 6.5 Probably the pick of the Bayern back four. Handled the Bayer strikers well and made a great block to initially deny Kiessling before Vidal scored.
Demichelis- 6 Gave the ball away too often on one occassion with a heart in mouth back pass but handled the aerial threat of the Bayer strikers capably. Made one very important tackle to prevent Kiessling getting in on goal.
Badstuber - 5.5 Booked after being caught on the ball by Barnetta and then caught out of position when the same Bayer player drifted in behind him. Not his best game today.
Robben - 7 Quieter than normal but a constant threat when on the ball and running. Tried some creative balls in behind Bayer but the strikers were on their heels. Took the penalty well.
Van Bommel - 6.5 Protected the defence well as usual but one lapse in concentration lead to him being booked.
Schweinsteiger - 6 Reasonably quiet game for the German central midfielder. Broke up play well alongside his captain, but had no real telling impact throughout. Booked.
Ribery - 7 Created the penalty but that was mainly it for the talented Frenchman today. Castro kept him under wraps for the most part.
Gomez - 6 Created one chance for himself jinking through two defenders before flashing wide. His only real moment in the game.
Olic - 6 A work horse as normal never giving up but was ineffective today when service found him. Tiredness could be the reason for his early substitution.
Klose n/a Came on for 10 mins, most of which Bayern were in defence.
Mueller - 6 Booked but was unlucky with a clever turn at the end. He thought he deserved a penalty and he may have had a point.
