Chelsea stormed back to the top of the Premier League standings with a commanding 3-0 over West Bromwich Albion. Nicolas Anelka moved clear in the scoring charts with another brace as the Blues made it 10 away wins on the spin. Goal.com rates the participants.

The prolific Nicolas Anelka celebrates another successful match in the EPL
West Bromwich Albion:

Carson: 5.0-
Caught at his near post for two of the three goals and chipped on the other. Bound to concede facing an attack like this.

Zuiverloon: 4.0-
Given a hiding by Malouda, could scarcely put up a fight.

Robinson: 5.5-
Kalou was not prominent on Robinson's wing and he made a number of key blocks. Got forward when he could too.

Meite: 3.0-
Could not get close to Anelka's shadow. Made errors throughout and was substituted.

Olsson: 6.0-
Made some key interceptions and was the most assured in a beleaguered back four.

Greening: 5.5-
Struggled against a superior opposition, but always was on the lookout to get moves going.

Koren: 6.0-
A classy customer saw some fine through balls wasted by his strikers, but had his patch patrolled efficiently by Mikel.

Morrison: 6.0-
The lightweight made some inroads in the early stages against Bridge but faded as Chelsea took over.

Valero: 6.5-
Showed a cute eye for a pass but had little room in which to rove. Was effectively bullied from proceedings.

Bednar: 4.5-

Incapable of taking the one chance that came his way. That's all you get against Chelsea.

Miller: 6.5-
Made life difficult for Terry and Ivanovic and drew a booking each from the pair. His best work was done far from the Chelsea goal.

Subs

Kim: 5.5-
Limited impact; filled a gap.

Tiexeira- 6.5-
Made an immediate difference but had his game quickly countered.

Donk: n/a-

Chelsea:

Cudicini: 6.0-
Had little to do, did it well.

Bosingwa: 7.5-
Great strike for the goal and is a key player in Scolari's fluid system. Did not have many defensive duties tonight.

Bridge: 7.0-
No fuss from Bridge. Kept it tight at the back and offered support for his attackers.

Terry: 6.5-
Looked uncomfortable occasionally against Miller but marshalled another clean sheet. Injured.

Ivanovic: 7.0-
A run of games would see Ivanovic excel at this level. Solid showing.

Mikel: 7.5-

Very effective in the 'Mikel-ele' position. Making it his own with swift challenges and composed, simple passes.

Lampard: 8.0-
A classy performance from arguably the continent's best midfielder. A subtle touch going forward and an imposing opponent in the middle third.

Deco: 8.0-
Shimmered behind Anelka and his through passes invariably had West Brom on an uncomfortable turn.

Malouda: 8.5-
Has grown immeasurably under Scolari. Such a threat going forward - he had Zuiverloon in knots. Incisive and eager for 90 minutes.

Kalou: 6.5-
The most subdued of a glowing Chelsea front line. A quiet match but did manage to provide an assist.

Anelka: 9.0-
There's no stopping the man. Drogba will be kicking his heels on the bench for another few weeks yet. His exquisite touch in front of goal is invaluable to the Blues.

Subs
:

Drogba: 6.0-
Barely featured.

Ballack: 6.0-
Had a few touches to ease him back into action.

Ferreira:
