And Neymar Sr., who admitted he hopes his son renews his contract at the Camp Nou, has claimed that Barcelona received bids for his son and his two attacking team-mates last year.

"Barcelona received an offer [for Neymar] last summer and rejected it," he told Ara.
"These offers are still coming, but the club are prepared to reject them. These bids are not just for Neymar, though but also for Suarez, Messi… Neymar is very happy at Barcelona, people don't need to worry."
Reports emerged earlier this week that the Brazil international was set to sign a new deal with Barcelona, but the 24-year-old's father insists nothing has been signed.
