RUMOURS: Ibrahimovic tempted by Mourinho reunion at Man Utd

The PSG striker has a fine working relationship with the former Chelsea manager and may link up with the Portuguese at Old Trafford for a single season prior to a move to MLS

Zlatan Ibrahimovic may link up with Jose Mourinho at Manchester United this summer, according to the Daily Telegraph.

Mourinho is expected to replace Louis van Gaal this summer and enjoys a fine working relationship with Ibrahimovic, having worked with the Sweden international at Inter for a season in 2009.

Ibrahimovic is understood to have bought a house in Miami ahead of a possible move to David Beckham's MLS franchise but they are not due to start playing until 2018, leaving the striker looking for a new club for a season.

And Mourinho will consider offering his former charge a deal if he replaces Van Gaal, as he bids to reshape a squad that looks likely to miss out on Champions League qualification in 2015-16.

However, the forward's wage demands may yet prove a stumbling block. The forward currently earns £250,000-a-week at PSG and could even double his wages if he were to move to China, with a number of marquee players moving to Asia in recent months.
