Bartomeu rules out Nolito move to Barcelona

The Blaugrana president says debt restrictions have hampered any move to bring the Celta Vigo winger back to Camp Nou
Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu says the club's "debt limitation" means there is no chance of Nolito moving to Camp Nou.

Speculation has been rife that the Blaugrana will make a move for the Celta Vigo star but Bartomeu has poured cold water on those reports in an interview with Cadena Ser.

He said: "Recently a lot has been said about the player and the club. Obviously we have a debt limitation and we can do nothing about that."

However, Bartomeu refused rule out arrivals altogether, hinting that there may be some transfer business before the January window closes.

When asked about possible signings this month, he said: "You never know."
