Official: Leicester sign Cambiasso

The former Inter and Real Madrid midfielder becomes the Foxes' fifth signing of the summer transfer window
Leicester City have confirmed that they have completed the signing of Esteban Cambiasso on a one-year deal.

The Argentine midfielder, a free agent following his 10-year spell at Inter, will wear the No.19 shirt at the King Power Stadium and could make his debut against Arsenal this weekend.

A long-term target for manager Nigel Pearson, Cambiasso won five Serie A titles and the Champions League during his spell at Inter and has earned over 50 caps for Argentina.

The 34-year-old made 32 Serie A appearances for Inter last season, scoring four times, and becomes Leicester's fifth signing of the summer following the arrivals of Marc Albrighton, Jack Barmby, Ben Hamer, Leonardo Ulloa and Matthew Upson.
