The winger has put pen to paper on a new deal which expires at 2018 and is excited about his future at the Mercedes Benz ArenaStuttgart midfielder Timo Werner has put pen to paper on a new contract which will keep him at the club until the summer of 2018.
The Germany Under-19 international has broken into the VfB first team this term, scoring four goals and setting up four more in his 21 Bundesliga appearances.
And he has marked his 18th birthday by committing his immediate future to the Mercedes-Benz Arena outfit and is looking forward to continuing his development the club.
"VfB have been my club from an early age," he told their official website.
"Therefore I'm very happy with this contract. I've come through the youth teams at VfB and I feel great here. I want to keep on learning and I'm glad I can do that at my club."
Werner will be looking to help Stuttgart claim their first Bundesliga win since early December when they host Eintracht Braunschweig on Saturday at 15:30 CET.
