Newspaper reports on Monday stated that the Blues boss was willing to allow Courtois to remain at Atletico Madrid, where he is currently on loan, on a permanent basis as part of a deal for the striker - who has scored 19 goals in 21 Liga games this season.

The Blues have been active in the January window, with Nemanja Matic and Mohamed Salah both arriving, and, despite the sale of Juan Mata to Manchester United, the manager is adamant that more additions will now be highly unlikely.
He added: "Unless an incredible surprising deal happens with one of our players - and because of that we have to react - I don't believe [Chelsea will buy]."
On Fernando Torres's fitness, with the Spain international having suffered a knee injury in the 3-1 victory over Manchester United on January 19, the Chelsea boss insisted that he will be out of action for another couple of weeks.
