The Premier League outfit have been linked with a move for the Germany international, but the Bavarians' trainer insists that the 27-year-old is going nowhere
Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola has warned Manchester City ahead of their Champions League Group D encounter on Tuesday they would be wasting their time by lodging a bid for goalkeeper Manuel Neuer.
The Premier League outfit have been linked with a big-money move for the Germany international amid reports that they are prepared to offload England No.1 Joe Hart, with Romanian shot-stopper Costel Pantilimon now Manuel Pellegrini's first-choice in the Premier League.
Neuer, meanwhile, has played an integral role in the Bavarian giants' success and Guardiola has insisted the 27-year-old will not be going anywhere.
"No chance," the Spaniard said when asked about the prospect of Neuer signing for City.
Neuer joined Bayern from Schalke in the summer of 2011 and has since developed into a key player at the Champions League holders.
