The winger has not feature once in the Premier League since arriving at Old Trafford, but his former boss is not getting his hopes up over a possible return to Selhurst ParkIan Holloway has hinted at interest in bringing Wilfried Zaha back to Crystal Palace on loan, but is unsure if a deal with Manchester United is possible.
The youngster has not played a single minute of Premier League football since his summer switch from Selhurst Park to Old Trafford, prompting talk of a temporary move away allow the winger to continue developing.
Goal revealed on October 2 that Zaha would prefer a move to Newcastle but must wait for David Moyes' approval. Consequently, Holloway is reluctant to push a possible return to Palace.
"David Moyes has his own issues at Manchester United, so if we were to go shouting about wanting him back on loan, I don't think we will ever get him back," Holloway told the South London Press.
"Besides, we have options [on the wings] - Jason Puncheon can play either side and in the pocket as well as in central midfield. Yannick Bolasie is coming back and will do well.
"It is all about having a squad that is strong enough to make changes and sustain good performances.
"At the moment, we are not beating people. [Jimmy] Kebe might have the chance to do that. And we know Jerome Thomas can."
