The 19-year-old admits the Blaugrana’s wealth of attacking options may force him out of the club
The addition of the Santos forward, who was unveiled at a press conference on Monday, means there are now seven forwards vying for just three starting attacking slots at Camp Nou.
And despite signing an extension with the club through to 2017, Deulofeu is concerned over his immediate future if he doesn't play regular football.
“Of course I look at the first team, but it is complicated,” he told reporters.
“There are very good players there. I’ll talk to the club and see what the best decision is. Of course for me it would be playing for the best club in the world, but they decide.
“It may be a possibility. Anything is, but maybe not yet. If I leave on loan I can earn minutes playing for another club and follow my professional dream.”
The forward has played 62 games for Barcelona B, while also making two appearances for the senior side and added his eagerness to kick on with the first team next season.
“It was a very nice time [playing for the 'B' side] and we’ll see what happens now. I must take it slowly and keep working," he added.
“I have not spoken about anything. I'll see who the coach decides to pick, and then we’ll talk about what we have to talk about to the club.”
