Manuel Pellegrini is believed to have identified the Spaniard as a top summer target, and the winger admits he is desperate to move on to a bigger club
Last week Malaga boss Manuel Pellegrini revealed he has a verbal agreement with City to succeed Roberto Mancini, and is believed to have identified Navas as a priority target.
And when asked about the speculation surrounding his future, Navas revealed his admiration for the Premier League runners-up and his desire to progress in his career.
"I like Manchester City a lot and it has great players," he told reporters.
"I'm open to anything. I want to win more and reach my goals. Manchester City has done all it can to bring me in and I have to be grateful for that.
"I want to go on and win trophies."
