The striker has stated that he intends to carry on playing for the Brazilian club despite continued reports linking him with a summer switch to Barcelona

Neymar insists he has not played his final game for Santos as speculation mounts over a move to Barcelona.

The Brazil starlet has long been linked with a summer switch to Camp Nou, with negotiations between club officials reported to have taken place at the end of last week.

However, the 21-year-old has reiterated his desire to see out his current deal with Santos, and is adamant that Sunday's Campeonato Paulista final defeat to Corinthians will not be his last game for the club.

"I'm happy here. I have already told you. Unless I die this game [against Corinthians on Sunday] is not my last game," he was quoted as saying by Globo Esporte.

"If people are saying other things, then they know more than I do. Many people say what they want without knowing anything. But this is how things are."

The international striker's agent and father has also stressed last week that his son will stay with Santos until they are informed by the club that they are willing to sell him.

However, vice-president Odilio Rodrigues Filho stressed that a deal was not yet in the offing despite having held discussions with the Bluagrana hierarchy while on a personal visit to Madrid.
