Bayern Munich striker Claudio Pizarro has voiced his hope of sealing a new contract at the club after returning to the Allianz Arena last summer.
The 34-year-old's current contract at the club expires at the end of the summer and the Peruvian is ready to open negotiations over a new deal.
"Of course I'd like to stay [at Bayern], even if it would be just for another year," the former Werder Bremen star told Kicker.
"This week we will start talking about my future."
Bayern took to the streets of Munich this weekend to celebrate their Bundesliga title after Saturday's clash with Augsburg and Pizarro says he would like to relive the experience in coming years.
"I hope this wasn't my last championship celebration. I'd have liked to play more often, but in the end, how everything went is fine."
The Bavarians are currently hoping to wrap up their first-ever treble, with the Champions League and DFB-Pokal finals to come.
