Spahic set to leave Sevilla for Anzhi
The Bosnia defender is to hold talks with the Russian Premier League side on Tuesday ahead of a possible move to the club from his La Liga side
Sevilla centre-back Emir Spahic is set to sign for Russian club Anzhi Makhachkala.
The defender left the Liga club’s training ground on Tuesday to fly to Moscow in order to discuss the move with the Russian transfer window closing on Wednesday.
Sevilla have reached an agreement with Anzhi and personal terms now have to be agreed with Bosnia international Spahic.
Anzhi currently sit second in the Russian Premier League just two points behind the leaders CSKA Moscow.
And Spahic, who has 61 caps for his national team, has experience of playing in Russia, having played for both Torpedo and Lokamotiv Moscow.
