Ogbonna could leave in the summer, says Torino president Cairo

The Granata are resigned to losing their Italy international centre back to one of Serie A's big clubs in the summer but are hopeful that the player may want to stay

Torino president Urbano Cairo has admitted that Angelo Ogbonna could well leave the club in the summer, with plenty of clubs are interested in the player.

The Italy international has been linked with a host of top Serie A sides such as Juventus and AC Milan, but his current employers still retain hope that he stays put.

“A lot of clubs are still very interested in Ogbonna,” Cairo told Tuttosport

“In June we will sit down and evaluate together what to do next. Maybe he will have a desire to stay here for a bit longer.”

The 24-year-old has spent his entire professional career with the Turin club, barring a loan stint at Crotone in the 2007-08 season.
