Anderlecht have brought Spartak Moscow midfielder Demy de Zeeuw to Belgium on loan for the rest of the season with a further option to buy him permanently in the summer.
The Dutchman will provide competition in the centre of midfield at the Constant Vanden Stock Stadium, and commercial manager Herman Van Holsbeeck was happy his side have brought a player of his ilk into the team.
"We are thrilled to have a player of the calibre of De Zeeuw to Anderlecht," he told reporters at a press conference.
"He is an ex-international and has all the qualities to strengthen our midfield."
Anderlecht are currently eight points clear at the top of the Jupiler League as they look to secure back-to-back domestic titles.
