Fulham a beautiful club for Manolev, claims agent
The Bulgaria international would be a perfect fit at Craven Cottage according to his representative, but Jol's side face stiff competition from a host of clubs for the PSV player
Fulham would be "a beautiful club" for PSV Eindhoven midfielder Stanislav Manolev, according to his agent.Manolev, who can play on the right-side of midfield or defence has been linked with a move away from the Eredivisie, with Fulham early front runners for the Bulgaria international's signature.
The 27-year-old's agent, Mino Raiola, is believed to be a friend of Fulham manager Martin Jol, and he insists his client would fit in nicely at Fulham.
"Fulham would be a beautiful club for him", Raiola told Voetbal International. "But at the moment there's nothing concrete."
Martin Jol could make a move for the 27-year-old as Fulham right-back Stephen Kelly edges closer to completing a move to Reading.
The Cottagers are not the only club chasing Manolev, however, with La Liga outfit Espanyol and several clubs from Germany and Russia also reportedly interested in the PSV man.
Manolev has made 76 appearances for the Dutch giants since arriving from Litex Lovech in 2009, scoring three goals.
