Sneijder to make a decision in next 24 hours, says Galatasaray director
The Turkish champions have held positive talks with the Dutch playmaker over a move to Istanbul, and the decision now lies in the player's hands
Galatasaray director Bulent Tulun has claimed that he is expecting Inter midfielder Wesley Sneijder's future to decide whether to move to the club within the next 24 hours. The Istanbul club announced on Wednesday that they were interested in bringing the Dutchman to Turkey, and talks have been progressing well, according to the official.
"Overall, I can say the talks have been positive, but he hasn't decided yet. He has family issues to discuss." he was quoted as saying by Milliyet.
"Sneijder will notify us of his decision within 24 hours. I think it's going well, but I cannot say anything definitively. Sometimes, transfers that are 99 per cent finished don't happen. For that reason, I am saying nothing.
"Things are moving well, but I don't know what to expect. We will announce the decision within 24 hours."
Sneijder has not featured for the Nerazzurri since September since getting into a stand-off with the club over signing a contract extension.
