Paulinho wants to stay at Corinthians

The midfielder admits the club were in talks with Inter regarding a transfer, but he has decided to stay in South America in an attempt to build on his Club World Cup triumph

The 24-year-old played a starring role in his side's Club World Cup win in Japan and revealed that he is staying with the Brazilian outfit despite Inter speaking to the South American club about his signature.
"I’m staying with Corinthians," he told Esporte iG.
"There was a lot of speculation that I could be leaving and there were indeed some talks, but I wasn’t aware of anything concrete, except from Inter."
After beating Chelsea in Tokyo on Sunday, the former FC Vilnius man admitted he has got a taste for success and wants to carry on picking up silverware.
"The more titles you win, the more you want to win. That's what everyone says, and I say that too."
