Willian reiterates desire to leave Shakhtar
The 24-year-old Brazilian was priced out of a move to Stamford Bridge and Tottenham during the summer, but is keen to leave the Donbass Arena and fulfil his aim to represent Brazil
Shakhtar Donetsk forward Willian has admitted that he wants to leave the Ukraine champions and is seriously interested in a move to Serie A.
After finding himself priced out of a move to Chelsea and Tottenham during the summer, with Donetsk unwilling to budge on their €30 million asking price, the Brazilian has again reiterated his desire to leave the Donbass Arena, with the European champions, AC Milan and Inter all interesting the 24-year-old.
"I would like to move from Shakhtar, my work here is complete," Willian told reporters.
"I would like to play in a big team in a big tournament, like the Premier League or Serie A. I like Chelsea, Milan and Inter.
"I have always followed the two Italian teams because my role models when I was young were Ronaldinho and Ronaldo, and they played for those teams."
With Tottenham manager Andre Villas-Boas reportedly in regular contact with the forward, the player would appear to still have his heart set on the Portuguese manager's former club at the moment, with his ultimate ambition to represent Brazil in the next World Cup on home soil.
He added: "I knew that Chelsea wanted me in the past but the club didn't want me to leave. I think it was about the price.
"I still have two seasons left on my contract at Shakhtar and the only thing I can do is keep playing well, try to go on in the Champions League and hope to move next year.
"My dream is to play with the Selecao in the World Cup in Brazil and I will have more chance to realise the dream if I play for a big team."
