Inter are very interested in Porto's Fernando, claims Guarin
The Colombian claims that the Nerazzurri have approached him about his former team-mate, and hopes to see the Brazilian midfielder line up alongside him at San Siro
Fredy Guarin has revealed that Inter have sought his opinion on former Porto teammate Fernando.
The Colombia international spent the second half of last season on loan at San Siro from the Dragoes, and has since made his switch to the Serie A giants permanent.

And he has now admitted that his current employers have sounded out his thoughts on the Brazilian, who he believes to be an excellent talent.
"Inter are very interested in Fernando. They have asked me about him and I had nothing but good things to say to them," said Guarin to O Jogo.
"He is a top player, who would help any team out a whole lot. If he chose to come play his football at Inter in the future, then I would be very happy."
The 25-year-old joined Porto from Brazilian club Vila Nova in 2007, but has not yet been called up to represent the Selecao.
Inter have been active in the transfer window this summer, bringing in the likes of Rodrigo Palacio, Samir Handanovic and Matias Silvestre as they look to improve on last season's sixth-placed finish in Serie A.
