The Dutch champions were recently knocked back in their attempts to land Marc Muniesa, after the defender underwent knee surgery, but they may now be set to engage in talks with the Blaugrana about the pair of Spain youth internationals.
Tello made 22 appearances for Barca last season, scoring seven times, but was left out of Tito Vilanova's first-team squad for the upcoming campaign, and is expected to leave Camp Nou in order to gain playing time elsewhere.
His agent is scheduled to meet Andoni Zubizarreta later this week to analyse the proposals that the forward has been presented with, reportedly from the likes of Liverpool, Arsenal, Atletico Madrid and Valencia, as well as Ajax.
Meanwhile, the capital outfit are also keen on bringing in Roberto, although it is believed that a deal may prove more complicated for the midfielder as his side are reluctant to let him leave the club this summer.
Ajax sporting director Marc Overmars attended Barcelona's 2-0 victory over Dinamo Bucharest on Saturday.
