The 32-year-old defender was able to sign for the Turkish club after reaching an agreement with Sevilla for the termination of his contract, which was due to expire next year.
Escude, who has 13 France caps to his name, joined Sevilla in 2006 after three years at Ajax and played an important role in the club's Uefa Cup triumphs in 2006 and 2007.
Meanwhile, the Andalucians have confirmed that Tiberio Guarente has signed for Bologna on a season-long loan with a view to a permanent deal at the end of the season.
The former Atalanta midfielder signed for Sevilla two summers ago, but a serious knee injury saw him play a bit-part role at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.
