The 29-year-old left the Black Eagles at the end of last season after a dispute over unpaid wages, and has signed a three-year deal with the Kadikoy club

Fenerbahce have confirmed the signing of former Besiktas defender Egemen Korkmaz to the Turkish stock exchange.

The Turkey international left the Black Eagles at the end of last season after a dispute over unpaid wages, and the Sukru Saracoglu club wasted no time in snapping up the 29-year-old.

He has signed a three-year contract with the Kadikoy outfit, with an annual salary of €1.75 million, as well as a €15,000 appearance bonus.

Egemen, who has represented his country eight times, moved to Besiktas from Trabzonspor in 2011, and has also enjoyed spells at Balikesirspor, Kartalspor and Bursaspor.

Fenerbahce had previously announced the signings of Mehmet Topal from Valencia and Dirk Kuyt from Liverpool as they look to wrestle the Super Lig title back from Galatasaray.
