PSG have not made any offer for Moutinho, says Porto's Pinto da Costa

The Portuguese champions' supremo insisted that the French capital club have not made a formal approach for the midfielder, who has a €40 million buy-out clause
Porto president Pinto da Costa has dismissed claims that Paris Saint-Germain have lodged a bid for Joao Moutinho.

The 25-year-old midfielder, who had been linked with a transfer to Chelsea late last year when Andre Villas-Boas was still the manager at Stamford Bridge, hinted last month that he would consider playing in a different league in future.

French sources claimed on Wednesday that PSG were lining up an offer for Moutinho, but Da Costa has revealed that he has not been approached by Carlo Ancelotti's side.

"There has been no offer from PSG for Moutinho," the Porto president told Antena 1. "The newspapers were the ones who sold them, so they should get the money."

Moutinho, who joined Porto from Sporting Lisbon in 2010 in a €10 million deal, has a €40m buy-out clause attached to his contract, which runs out in 2015.
