Napoli forward Ezequiel Lavezzi has confirmed that his proposed move to French side Paris Saint-Germain is a "mere formality" following a bidding war for the Argentine.
Les Parisiens have beaten off the likes of Inter and Anzhi to sign the 27-year-old, and he confirmed the €26 million move is to be completed within days.
“When do I sign [for PSG]? I do not know. There is nothing scheduled, but it is a mere formality,” the Argentina forward told frenchfootball.fr.
There are reports that the Rosario-born attacker, who played 188 competitive games for Napoli over five years scoring 48 goals, could touch down in Paris later on Monday for his medical.
