Porto's Danilo hopeful of Ganso reunion

The Brazilian full-back conceded that he has said good things about the club to his compatriot, who was the subject of a bid from the Dragoes in the January market

The Brazilian midfielder was on Porto's wishlist during the January transfer window, but a move failed to materialise as Santos were unhappy with the offer, which they labelled 'comical'.
But Danilo, who left the Copa Libertadores champions in January after agreeing a €13 million switch, has not lost faith that he will be able to play alongside Ganso once again.
"I am always in contact with Ganso and Neymar, who are friends of mine and players I really look up to," Danilo told O JOGO.
"I am rooting for Ganso to come to Porto, I have already talked to him about the club and the city, and I think he would really fit in our style of play.
"It was hard to leave Santos after the Club World Cup. I have found a great squad at Porto, but I will never find an atmosphere like I did at Santos. It was fantastic."
Danilo made eight appearances for Porto this season, returning to action in April after two months on the sidelines as a result of a knee injury sustained in the Europa League match against Manchester City in February.
