The 22-year-old's representative has admitted that his client would favour a move to the Giallorossi at the end of the current campaign, despite interest from other big clubs
Sissoko has been one of his side's best players this term with Toulouse currently sitting in fifth place in Ligue 1, only six points away from Champions League qualification.
Olympique Lyonnais, Juventus and Inter have all shown an interest in the 22-year-old, who is believed to be valued at around €30 million, yet it appears that Roma are now favourites for the midfielder after his representative's latest admission.
"Moussa [Sissoko] wants Roma, they are a great team, a big club," Bakary Sanogo told Tuttomercatoweb.
"Sissoko wants to play in the Italian league, Roma are a big side, a very important team. Our intention is to move to Italy, and even better to the capital.
"How much will it cost? I am unable to say, these are estimates that pertain to the two clubs. I just want to say that Moussa wants Italy and Roma."
Sissoko has so far made 27 Ligue 1 appearances this season, scoring two goals in the process.
