Nantes sign Damien Le Tallec from Borussia Dortmund
The 21-year-old has returned to his homeland after a difficult spell in Germany, having signed a deal to 2014 with the second division side
Ligue 2 side Nantes have completed the transfer of Borussia Dortmund striker Damien Le Tallec. The French club announced on their official website that the player had put pen to paper on a two-and-a-half year contract, which will expire in June 2014.A France youth international at Under 15-20 levels, the 1.84m attacker is capable of playing on either wing, and in the centre of attack.
However, after joining BVB in 2009, Le Tallec made just four Bundesliga appearances and was rarely even on the bench at Jurgen Klopp's side.
Now 21 years of age, the player will hope for a brighter future in his native France. At Nantes, he will wear the number 19 shirt.
