AC Milan have completed the transfer of promising youngster Philipp Prosenik from Chelsea for an undisclosed fee. The Rossoneri have confirmed the capture of the Austrian attacker on their official website.
The Serie A champions had been monitoring the 18-year-old striker ever since he was part of the Rapid Vienna youth academy.
They missed out on Prosenik in 2009 when he opted to join Chelsea, but have now managed to lure the forward to San Siro after all.
Prosenik, who has been capped at Under-19 level for Austria, is expected to start his Milan career in the club's Primavera squad, but they consider him to be an important first-team player for the future.
