'Roma in talks with Villarreal over Nilmar,' claims agent
By Luis Mira

The Brazilian forward's representative says that the Serie A giants are interested in the player, while suggesting that a return home is an unlikely scenario

The 27-year-old has been strongly linked with a move away from the Yellow Submarine after a disappointing start to his third season at the club.
Nilmar has so far scored only two goals in eight appearances and is reaching the final stages of his seven-week lay-off because of a knee surgery.
After the striker had two spells at Internacional earlier in his career, the player's representative has indicated he will let the Porto Alegre-based club know about the developments of negotiations for his client.
"Some offers have arrived, but not from Internacional," Orlando da Hora told Globoesporte. "I will let Internacional know when there is interest from other clubs.
"Sao Paulo have contacted my attorney, but not me. I will continue negotiating with Roma."
Despite interest from Brazilian sides in Nilmar, Da Hora says it is highly unlikely that his client will return home anytime soon.
"Villarreal did not accept a millionaire's offer from Roma," he noted. "How can a Brazilian club sign him? Only if there is another player involved [in the deal].
"Honestly, I think there is a one per cent chance of him returning to Brazil."
