Juventus tracking Lille's Aurelien Chedjou - report

The central defender is said to have caught the attention of the Serie A giants with his impressive performances for the current Ligue 1 champions this season
Cameroon international Aurelien Chedjou could be on his way out of Lille in the January transfer window as Juventus have shown an interest in signing the centre-back, La Gazzetta dello Sport reports.

The Turin giants are desperate to strengthen their backline and have previously been linked with players such as Chelsea's Alex and Sao Paulo's Rhodolfo.

However, they have now reportedly turned their attention to 26-year-old Chedjou, who head coach Antonio Conte sees as the perfect addition to his defence.

Chedjou joined Lille from Rouen in the summer of 2007 and has since developed into an important first-team player at the Ligue 1 champions.

The defender has a contract with Lille which runs until the summer of 2015. An offer in the region of €8 million could be needed to convince the French side to part with their player.
