The father of the Brazilian sensation has indicated that he has not yet talked to the Liga champions and will not do so before Santos give the go-ahead
For the past two weeks, Brazilian sources have suggested Barcelona have not given up on landing the 19-year-old, and are eager to beat Real Madrid to negotiations with the starlet.
A report in Estadao earlier on Wednesday claimed a delegation of Barcelona officials was in Sao Paulo to proceed with negotiations for Neymar.
Questioned about such stories, Neymar da Silva Santos told the same media outlet: "I do not know if someone from Barcelona is here in Brazil.
"If there is, we will only talk if Santos give permission."
Earlier in the month, Santos president Luiz Ribeiro stated he was keen to offer Neymar an improved contract in a bid to prevent a transfer.
The forward's father, however, ruled out that scenario, saying: "There is nothing about a raise. Neymar has a contract with Santos and nothing will change."
