Real Zaragoza have signed Hoffenheim midfielder Franco Zuculini on a season-long basis, the Spanish club have announced.
The Argentine midfielder signed for Genoa last summer in a one-year loan deal, but was shipped to Racing Club halfway through the season.
Zuculini passed the regular medical exams on Friday afternoon and will train for the first time with his new teammates on Saturday.
The 20-year-old, who has one senior cap this name, joined Hoffenheim from Racing in 2009, but has failed to impress at the Bundesliga side.
Earlier on Friday, Zenit St. Petersburg coach Luciano Spalletti revealed Fernando Meira is also on the verge of signing for Zaragoza.
