Real Madrid are hot on the trail of Chivas Guadalajara striker Carlos Fierro, Goal.com US Latino has learned.
The Mexico Under-17 international has emerged as one of the most in-demand players in the Americas, with interest in the striker escalating after a convincing display against Barcelona earlier in the week.
A source close to the player has told Goal.com that Fierro, who is also believed to be followed by Barcelona, has a strong appeal for Real Madrid.
It is thought that the Spanish capital club have had an emergency meeting to discuss the possibility of signing Fierro, who scored four goals at the Fifa U17 World Cup, which Mexico won.
