The Zimbabwean striker finally makes his way to Germany from his South African club in the hopes that he will be a success in the Bundesliga
This was confirmed on Thursday morning by Chiefs’ football manager, Bobby Motaung, who has also quelled speculation that it could be a loan move.
“It is not a loan. It is a fully signed contract of five years. It is confirmed and we will miss him at Kaizer Chiefs. We want to wish him all the best … we give him all our blessings. Musona is going as soon as he gets his Visa,” Motaung said at a press conference.
Bundesliga outfit Hoffenheim’s sports director Ernst Tanner believes the 21-year-old Zimbabwean-born striker will make the grade in Europe.
“What we have seen is astonishing,” he said.
Musona’s parting word is that he is grateful to the Amakhosi for the good treatment he enjoyed at the club.
“Khosi 4 Life … I hope one day I will be back playing for the team. I can’t forget where I came from,” he said.
