Villarreal's Jozy Altidore to pen four-year contract with AZ Alkmaar

The American goal-scorer is hoping to be finally able to settle down and prove his worth after playing for four different clubs over the last three years

The United States international is set to undergo a medical with the Dutch club before committing his future for the next four years.
The striker, who reportedly attended AZ Alkmaar's 5-0 friendly win over AGOVV, is hoping to find at the AFAS Stadion the opportunities he was never given at Villarreal.
After joining the Spanish club from the New York Red Bulls in 2008, Altidore was loaned out to Xerez, Hull City and Bursaspor, but at all these clubs he failed to show the level of form which has made him a key member of the USA national team.
