Real Madrid have been suggested as the likeliest destination for the 19-year-old forward, who has a release clause of €45 million, and the player's agent has now revealed that a deal is close at hand.
"There is nothing else to talk about. The only thing left is that Real Madrid pay up," Ribeiro was quoted as saying by Marca.
"If they do it, Santos have nothing to do, other than receive their share of the transfer."
Earlier on Tuesday, Neymar admitted he wanted to stay at Santos, but Ribeiro has now opened the door to a transfer at the end of the year, after the Club World Cup has taken place.
"Neymar also has to say when he wants to go, because it is true that he would like to be at the Club World Cup," the player's agent added.
