Juventus are the only club to have made a formal offer for Villarreal forward Giuseppe Rossi, as the 24-year-old edges closer to a move to Turin, Goal.com can reveal.
The Spanish side have previously invited bids for their star striker, with the Italy international's agent revealing that negotiations between the clubs were underway and that he was hopeful of a deal being completed.
It is understood that, despite interest from a number of other clubs including Barcelona and Tottenham, Antonio Conte's team are the sole bidders to date.
As Goal.com exclusively revealed on Tuesday, the Old Lady have offered €25 million for the former Manchester United attacker, with the outfit from El Madrigal holding out for €30 million.
Meanwhile it also believed that veteran defender Joan Capdevilla may be included as part of the deal and will also move to the Serie A club, which may spell the end of Fabio Grosso's stay at the Italian side.
The Rome-born full-back has been linked with a move to Villarreal, but his wages demands are a stumbling block as he currently earns more than the Spaniards are willing to offer.
