France under-21 starlet Sebastien Corchia has made it clear that German giants Bayern Munich are still closely monitoring his progress.
The right-back left his boyhood club Le Mans for Ligue 1 side Sochaux last week, signing a contract until the summer of 2015, but his transfer hasn't put off the Bundesliga side, who continue to keep tabs on the 20-year-old.
"Bayern have followed me for a long time, but I have never received a concrete offer. They continue to monitor me, though, and have said that they will come and see me in action in a few games this season," Corchia was quoted as saying by RMC.
Bayern signed Brazilian full-back Rafinha from Genoa to strengthen their back line ahead of the 2011-12 campaign, but they apparently still consider Corchia as a valuable addition in the long term.
