Sevilla are looking to bring in Montpellier defender Emir Spahic to add strength to their defensive ranks, according to L'Equipe.
The Bosnian centre-back is reported to be available for as little as €2 million, despite having another three years left to run on his current contract with the Ligue 1 club.
Spahic has built a reputation as a strong and sturdy defender in France, since joining the league from Russian club Lokomotiv Moscow in 2009.
Sevilla's new coach Marcelino Garcia Toral reportedly views the Croatian-born centre-half as an ideal signing due to the player's leadership qualities, with Spahic the current captain of the Bosnian national team.
The Andalusian club have already made three signings this summer, bringing in Coke, Manu del Moral and Piotr Trochowski.
The 30-year-old defender made 35 appearances for Montpellier last season, scoring one goal in the process.
