Real Sociedad winger Antoine Griezmann has confirmed his representatives have spoken to Barcelona, but insists he is happy to stay at the Basque club.
The French under-21 international has impressed for Sociedad this season, scoring seven goals in 37 La Liga appearances.
Barcelona see Griezmann as a cheaper alternative to Udinese's Alexis Sanchez and have reportedly started discussions with the player's current employees over a possible transfer.
However, the 20-year-old insists that he is happy to stay at Sociedad- where first-team football is guaranteed.
"It's pleasing to see that a club like Barca are interested in me. That means I'm doing things well. I can confirm that some directors from Barca have called my agent, but I'm not leaving," Griezmann is quoted as saying in Sport.
"I have to play and I don't want to be a substitute. That's why I prefer to stay one or two more years at Real Sociedad."
Griezmann has a €30 million release clause in his current contract although it is believed Sociedad would accept a lower asking price, especially if they are offered Barcelona youth players on loan.
