The Argentina midfielder has reiterated he does not what he will do, while calling Liverpool links as 'rumours'.
The Argentina international has been linked with a move away from the Santiago Bernabeu after successive injuries in the past two seasons forced him into a peripheral role at the club.
A move to Benfica as makeweight in the deal which is expected to bring defender Fabio Coentrao has been mooted as a possibility, with Liverpool and Boca Juniors also reported as possible destinations.
Gago, though, has declared he has not thought about what he will do, as he will only consider his options after a chat with his coach, and reiterated he is fit to play at a top level.
"Having so many injuries has never happened before in my life. I will talk to Mourinho to decide what I will do," Gago told TyC Sports.
Asked about the reports linking him with Liverpool, the midfielder branded such stories as 'rumours': "No-one has talked to me," he said.
