The agent of Rubin Kazan defender Cristian Ansaldi has indicated preliminary talks with Juventus have taken place.
The Argentine defender is widely expected to look for pastures new in the summer after plying his trade in Russia for the past three years.
The 24-year-old stated in April that he wished to test himself in a bigger league, and Serie A duo Juventus and Roma are both believed to be monitoring the situation of the former Newell's Old Boys man.
Questioned about the interest that Italian clubs have in his client, agent Pedro Aldave stated Juventus are keen on Ansaldi, while revealing Roma are yet to make a move.
"Juventus and I have talked, but there is nothing concrete yet," Aldave told calciomercatoweb. "They are interested because he can play on both sides of the field, but we are still at a preliminary stage.
"A meeting with [Roma director Walter] Sabatini? No, I have never met with him."
Ansaldi, who cost Rubin Kazan €3.6 million, is reportedly also being followed by Benfica as the Portuguese side look for a replacement for outbound Fabio Coentrao.
