thumbnail Hello,

A move across the Spanish capital could be a solution for the Argentine after all, as Satin explains that the clubs' rivalry will not get in the way of a transfer if Real pay up

Bruno Satin, director of IMG, the company which holds the rights to Atletico Madrid star Sergio Aguero, has revealed that the Colchoneros' rivalry with Real Madrid alone will not prevent the striker from moving to the Santiago Bernabeu.

The Argentina international has made no secret he plans to move on in the summer after five years with Atletico.

Real Madrid have been mooted as a potential destination, with coach Jose Mourinho and Aguero praising each other over the last days, with the latter also suggesting he would like to remain in La Liga.

Atletico have always stated they would block Aguero's transfer to their cross-town rivals, but it appears Madrid could have their way if they put together the right offer for the 23-year-old.

"There would be some difficulties, looking at the rivalry with Atletico, but if Madrid decide to move and if they are willing to pay the player's release clause [€45 million], the transfer could go ahead," Bruno Satin told Calciomercato.

The IMG director, who noted there are "just a few teams" Aguero can really join, added the biggest interest in the striker has so far come from Juventus, who he claimed have not yet tabled any offer.
